Laura Brown, creator of TravelGram with LauraB, she is the quintessential entrepreneur—starting out at 7, with an ironing board stacked with handmade greeting cards. By nine, she was running the top Avon route in her district, baking cookies to win hearts and learning firsthand what hustle, resilience, and heart can do.
From selling cards, writing poetry, publishing short stories, building jewelry brands to opening artist cooperatives and to self-publishing a book during Covid on how she lost 85 pounds while eating chocolate and drinking wine (yes, it’s on Amazon!)—she always followed the spark.
When the world shut down, she turned to storytelling again—this time through hiking videos with her husband, Neil. One viral moment turned into thousands of supporters, and suddenly my passion had a platform. She took a leap of faith, left a great full-time job, and grew her community.
Today, she lives her dream creating content, empowering businesses, managing major social accounts, collaborating with Meta, and building spaces where creators and industries connect—like her newest venture, Cocktails, Mocktails & Collabs, Connecticut’s first social-media-meets-hospitality networking experience.
She is an idea woman. A problem solver. A connector. A creator. A storyteller.
And Laura is just getting started and that’s why she is our Maker and Shaker today!

Adrienne Lufkin, Founder of Struesli   & Chairwoman of Grace Ryan Organics, Inc.

Adrienne’s journey began as a private chef, creating meals for clients with specific health concerns while also navigating her own experiences with autoimmune disease and chronic migraines. Out of this passion, she crafted Struesli — a truly grain-free, refined sugar-free granola that adds nourishment and flavor to meals and snacks.

Since launching in 2023, Adrienne’s favorite part of building Struesli has been the people: the friendships, collaborations, and community that have formed along the way. She’s proud to see Struesli featured on store shelves and menus she once admired, and even more proud each time a customer shares how Struesli has made them feel better, eat better, or enjoy food in a new way.

Fun Fact: Adrienne’s Nantucket-based cookbook will be available in Spring 2026! Adrienne has attended the BWF in past years, and it was a great way for her to meet other entrepreneurs and make great connections for her business!
